KONFIDO - Secure and Trusted Paradigm for Interoperable eHealth Services

The KONFIDO project aims to address the challenges of secure storage and exchange of eHealth data, protection and control over personal data and security of health-related data. To achieve that, KONFIDO takes on a holistic approach by targeting all architectural layers of an IT infrastructure, such as storage, dissemination, processing and presentation. KONFIDO and GHOST exchange ideas and knowledge on the use of blockchain and smart contracts for data integrity.

SOFIE - Secure Open Federation for Internet Everywhere

The major challenge in the evolving IoT world is the fragmentation of vertically oriented, closed systems and architectures dedicated to specific application areas. The SOFIE project aims to develop a blockchain driven federated platform for enabling information exchange of different IoTs and data silos. Secure open federation is the key concept of the SOFIE approach. The aim is to enable creation of business platforms, based on existing IoT platforms and distributed ledgers, without needing to negotiate with any gatekeepers. The wide applicability of the approach is tested through four pilots.

FORTIKA

FORTIKA proposes a resilient overall cyber security solution that can be easily tailored and adjusted to the versatile and dynamically changing needs of small businesses. To this end, the project ambitiously aims to make systematic and extensive use of the existing service and product portfolio of security solution providers across Europe.

FORTIKA and GHOST project can collaborate on cyber security aspects that may affect both SMEs and smart homes. The security solutions and services proposed in both projects can be used to enhance the defense capabilities of both gateways to external threats.

SerIoT

SerIoT aims to provide a useful open & reference framework for real-time monitoring of the traffic exchanged through heterogeneous IoT platforms within the IoT network in order to recognize suspicious patterns, to evaluate them and finally to decide on the detection of a security leak, privacy threat and abnormal event detection, while offering parallel mitigation actions that are seamlessly exploited in the background.
 

SerIoT can provide to GHOST insights on the identification of suspicious\abnormal patterns, privacy threats and proper mitigation actions for various threat types. On the other hand, GHOST can provide profits on building the envisioned reference architecture for the real-time traffic monitoring of IoT platforms.
